Private Practice – Primary Care1 student / semester
Ark Valley Vision Care provides routine and acute red-eye care plus medical services including dry eye disease, foreign body removal, anterior segment injuries, type II diabetes, and macular degeneration. Advanced procedures include lasers, minor lump-and-bump removals, and lacrifill injections. Students see and manage complex ophthalmic problems usually handled by ophthalmology in urban settings, provide refractive care, and learn the business side of rural private practice.
